How to Draw A Person Easy Video Tutorials

Hey there lovely readers! Today’s blog topic happens to be our one of the most favorite things to talk about and while we share what it is about we would also like to thank each one of you for your constant support and positive feedback that you guys leave under our blogs.

So, we have been receiving multiple requests in which most of you requested us to share tutorials that are not just easy to follow but after going through them, you would want to try out a few new techniques as well. Keeping that in mind, we sat down earlier this week to shortlist some really cool & easy video tutorials for you all. Keep reading if you want to know more!

We are starting off with “How to Draw A Person” first as we know that most of you love creating characters and figures and we are sure that you are going to like all the tutorials that we will share with our blog today. Know that each tutorial has a step by step guide to help you understand the process. And in addition to that, you will also learn to use the tools too as in how much pressure should you put on the pencils, pens and markers or anything which you want to use to draw a person / character for your digital creative post or a mascot or two in later stages.

Now, we know that by watching all the videos, you are going to learn how to draw a person really well but to start doing that, you would need a couple of things too. Allow us to list them down and you can get them from any stationery shop:

It is up to you to decide the quantity of all the tools that we have mentioned above but for starters; we would like to say that keep it minimum as you are just going to test your skills and we do not want you to feel overwhelmed especially while purchasing the stuff that you might need for your drawings. Once you know that you are getting there, you can shop whatever you like to shop!

It is important to know that drawing paper is not sketching paper and the major difference is that you use drawing paper for final drawings whereas; a sketching paper is used to practice your drawing skills. May be what you can do is that you can grab some sketching papers too and use them for improving your drawing pattern.

Although, you are free to explore your options when it comes to deciding your medium for the drawings, we would like to recommend Strathmore Series 400 paper as it is smooth and is a great place to start drawing as well.

As far as the pencils, pens and markers are concerned, we would like you to invest in really good stationery items but again, don’t get too excited and buy everything that you see. Oh, and we would also like to share that Faber-Castell 9000, Graphite Sketch Pencil Art Set and Prismacolor Premier Graphite Drawing Pencils are some of the best pencil sets that you can get for your drawings.

Copic Multiliner SP, Sakura Pigma Micron and Uni Pin Fineliner are some of the best drawing pens that you can consider while shopping and for drawing markers, we would suggest you to consider Prismacolor 12-Count Double-Ended Art Markers, Uni-posca Paint Marker Pens, Ohuhu 40 Colors Dual Tips Markers.

You might not want to purchase a drawing board especially when you are starting making drawings but we usually recommend our friends to get at least one of the boards as support is really needed and you could use that for neat drawings.

That being said, we would also like you all to know that you need to be patient with the results (drawings) as well because every new skill and technique requires time, dedication and patience. Our video tutorials are super easy to follow but do not consider them as a standard to judge yourself and your work. Just continue drawing even if you end up making faces and persons that do not even make sense but that should not stop you from trying more.

Some other things that can help you with staying focused while drawing are your mood and the environment. Make sure that you are calm and not in a hurry when you sit down to create one of your masterpieces. Also, do not give yourself deadlines, that will make it difficult for you to focus. Consider choosing a quiet place somewhere, describe what you want from the drawing and start creating it – with no judgements.

And that’s all for today guys! We hope that you will find our blog and video tutorials helpful and we know that you are going to draw some really brilliant persons as well. Don’t forget to share our blog with people who you think might also be interested in making drawings.
