35+ Awe-Inspiring Lettering Logotypes By Evgeny Tutov

Hi there, hello there! We hope that you guys are keeping safe and that you are enjoying reading our interesting blogs and working on our mock-up PSD files and design templates is fun too. We are going to be sharing a fun blog with you guys today and we can bet that you all are going to love it but before we start, we would like to thank you for your constant support and unique requests & suggestions that you always share with us in our comments section.

Okay so, we are sure that you guys know that how much we love featuring artists here on our blog. But it is also important to know why we do that so here it is: you would know how all the artists around the globe invest in so much of their time, energy and efforts whenever they create something for their audience or even for their own portfolios. And when they do, they also expect appreciation or at least, recognition. Do you know why? Because that is important for them – super important in fact. Getting recognized for your work is something anyone wants, and we are not talking about how big or small they are, they just need to be talked about for all the right reasons.

Another reason is that we want the artists and their work to be viewed online too so that anyone and everyone who has been planning to learn something new this year (a skill etc.), they can do it by looking at the techniques that the artists use & follow and by also teaching themselves through various mediums like YouTube, Facebook & Instagram etc. So, it is literally like you might never have to leave your house, but you will learn so much from the internet that you can make money out of it too.

And since we are (indirectly) talking about learning new skills, techniques and everything else that can help you in getting better at something, we would also like to mention it here that you all need to be patient with yourself while you plan to learn a thing or two. It is one of those super important pointers that will keep you going, and you won’t give up during the process.

First things first; we would like to tell you guys who Evgeny Tutov is and then we will move forward with our blog topic. So, he is an American brand identity designer who happens to create calligraphic inscriptions and logotypes independently as he is not associated with any creative agency or brand for that matter at the moment. He plays and experiments with different styles and techniques to see what complements the design briefs when he is working on his creations.

Okay now, those of you who don’t know, you must be wondering what exactly lettering is, right? Lettering is an art of creating and making letters (individually) and then putting them for context – it could be anything from logos to brand taglines and so much more, depending on the need of the design brief. Logotypes could be letters, words (names & sentences), initials, and even signatures and creating the lettering logotypes means that the letters that have been made are supposed to be put together to create the logo and branding of a business etc.

Although like all the major art styles and techniques in the world, lettering was also used to be done by hand in old days but now that we have digital devices and online platforms to work on, creating lettering logotypes has become even more convenient and fun. So, for example look at the awe-inspiring lettering logotypes by Tutov: from a jewelry brand to a fine vegan food seller to a lettered logotype for photographers and designers, you will be able to check out a variety of his creations that you are going to love.
