Okay so, let’s just admit it that we do not like making presentations all the time. They are lengthy, they can take so much of our time (which we would love to spend on Netflix though) and well, they are little overwhelming as well. We are sure you would know that presentations are of different types and are designed to fulfill the needs & demands of a personal and / or professional objective, brief etc. and the main idea is to break the brief into pieces to share the way forward, the current progress and strategies to meet the goals.

We would like to share a few important types of presentations that will also help you in setting the direction of the presentation as well. Continue reading the blog to know more!

The many different types of presentations include:

  • Arousing presentations
  • Persuasive presentations
  • Informative presentations
  • Instructional presentations

Then there are presentations that help the audience etc. to make an informed decision about a certain something and are called decision making presentations. All types of presentations are to be made keeping in mind a route that starts from a problem and then to its solution and ways to deal with it in order to achieve a set of goals. And although we know that many different people have their own ways of making presentations; it is important to keep in mind that a presentation becomes interesting when you make it like a story. The more refined your story telling skills are, the more you will be able to impress your audience.

And there are ways to do it, obviously but what also matters is the content that you want to showcase for example; your design ideas, the mock-ups that you just created or the action plan that you would want your team to follow to get good results from a campaign etc. Keeping in mind that graphic designers normally have very tough routines and they do not really get a chance to pause for a while let alone make a detailed mock-up presentation. We know it can be hectic but that is the only way to go about it.

We have been saying this for quite some time now that your mock-up PSDs not only let your decision makers take great decisions but you also get to spend a lot of money and time too and that is what matters the most. To make a presentation impactful and to help you bag the deal just like that, we would love to share a bunch of tips and tricks with you guys to make it work:

First things first; no matter what’s the scale of your audience (as in, the people who are going to be there are your students, business partners, bosses or clients for that matter), you must know them to create a presentation that you can present in front of them. Once you know that your presentation has it in it to vibe with the audience’s personality, half of your job is done.

What is your idea of the presentation and why are you doing it? These two questions will help you set the course of the entire presentation too. We know this for a fact that a lot of people do not do this but you should rehearse to present for at least one time or just go through the presentation multiple times to know what you have made so that when you are standing in front of the audience, you know what you are talking about.

Visual aids are the integral part of any presentation so make sure that you have enough and relevant imagery as well as design elements to make it look more presentable. Another thing that you must pay attention to is the sequence of your presentation. Messy presentations bore the audience and they can also confuse you because you would not even know what’s happening if it is organized properly.

Your presentation has to be in easy to understand language and the text size should be readable enough so that if some one wants to read it from the presentation, they can do that. We decided to create these free 20 white wooden backgrounds for mock-up presentations as we know how tough it can become to find the appropriate backgrounds that go for all sorts of presentations. We are sure that you are going to have a lot of fun using these backgrounds so, what are you waiting for?
