This is How A Chocolate Packaging Presentation Should Be Made

Hello there everyone! We hope that you guys had a great time on the new year’s eve and that you are super excited to get done and over with fun things in the new year as well and since we all had loads of chocolate in the past couple of day; we thought it would be a nice idea to keep that chocolaty conversation going by sharing this amazing chocolate packaging presentation with you guys. We promise that it is going to be good one so, keep reading the blog because we can bet that you all are going to love everything that is has to offer.

We know that almost anyone and everyone who is directly and indirectly related with the marketing and advertising industries of the world has to frequently work on presentations. They are either pitch presentations, mock-up presentations or presentations that let the concerned team members decide matters like branding and packaging etc. If you are one of those people; then you would know how important a presentation is and how it should always work in an effective manner. Yes, minor hiccups can and may happen but if you are on the right track, then with a little effort, you will seal the deal like a pro.

The chocolate packaging presentation that we are about to share with you guys was created by a bunch of people at étiquette packaging – a strategic packaging solution providers in Vilnius, Lithuania. They got a brief from a national chocolate brand Pergalė that happens to be the biggest manufacturer in Lithuania and also exports to more than 45 countries in the world so, you can imagine how big the company really is and how them being on point matters too.

Now, the people that were supposed to work on the rebranding campaign know the sentiments that are attached with the company and they must have consumed the products too in one way or the other to actually work on the overall new look and feel of whatever they were supposed to work on. And we honestly think that only those people should be assigned to work on something they know inside and out as it not only allows them to touch avenues that might haven’t touched before as well as it lets people tell the actual story – a story that matters, that has a meaning and that will reconnect consumers and the brand.

People at Pergalė had a new strategy to manufacture the chocolates by introducing advanced technologies and swapping their manual labor with that. We think that it is a great approach and companies can utilize the same people do other stuff as well but the challenge here was that the old chocolate molds were not going to be used because the decided new shapes were never going to fit in those molds and in addition to that; the old box was outdated too along with the design it had on them. We can bet that it must have been a hard decision especially because the chocolate manufacturers have been in business since 1952 and letting go of things can be difficult but you have to see what these brilliant packaging designers did to know that great things can happen even if you have to let go of certain really old things that you are emotionally attached with.

The logo was kept as it is, but the ‘indication’ of milk / chocolate was removed in order to get more space to make the wave look fancier. This revision allowed the designers to bring an airy sort of a composition to the logo making it appear attractive and to the point. Another interesting thing that these people did was to get rid of the overly used gold color and added a copper shade into the design so that the consumers could feel the legacy of the chocolatier. We feel that they all put in a serious effort to make things so much better and appealing for the brand that it just looks amazing.

The fonts that were used for the rebranding is Gilroy typeface for the front side in order to give a readable look that’s also modern and crisp and for the backside; PT Sans was used since there is going to be a lot of text there so the font(s) needed to be thin and tighter. And lastly; the imagery had to be so great that anyone would want to check out what’s inside the box and we are so glad to share it here that the geniuses decided to take the upper views of the chocolate as well as the ingredients to let people know what they can expect from the company and wow, this was not only a great learning experience for us but we can bet that you guys can get inspirations too so, if you liked reading the blog, do share your feedback with us in the comments section.
