The logos that you will be checking out in this collection were created by this super talented person, Ilya Denisov who happens to love both art and history and we all know that whenever those are combined, the outcome is nothing but stunning. We would also like to add here that on boredpanda, Ilya uses the name Ilya Stallone so, if you are planning to read up more on the artist and their work, you will have to do the search by their pseudonym.

Anyways; grotesque art style was invented and used in the middle ages to create art and more however, with the passage of time the word ‘grotesque’ got the meaning of unusual and bizarre as well so, it is important for us to mention it here that if you think there is a direct link between the grotesque style of creating art and the words such as hideous, ugly, mysterious, strange or even unpleasant and disgusting then you are very right because the art truly depicts unusualness of a super imaginative mind that could create that type of art, you know.

But before you guys check out the actual grotesque art style (in detail – if you have time), allow us to share the famous brand names that Ilya kept in mind while recreating their logos. So, there is Windows, Burger King, YouTube, Firefox, Puma, Lacoste, Audi, Playboy, Starbucks and Instagram.

We would also like to mention it here that while doing our research on all the recreated famous logo, we came across this very interesting comment by one of the individuals that read something along the lines of: the Windows logo appeared to them as the houses of Hogwarts and quite honestly, if you look at that logo, you might feel the same too. We will be sharing our favorite ones from the collection as well but we have to say it that the Burger King one is our top favorite logo that Ilya has created keeping in mind how to actually depict the Middle Ages, it is so apt, kinda funny as well as strangely interesting that you would like to stay with it for a while before you move forward. Moreover, Ilya has mentioned about the recreated logo of YouTube that before they decided to create a couple of designs for this very project, they had been visiting a couple of medieval castles in Belarus and it was that atmosphere that encouraged them to create what they have created and what we are sharing with you guys in our blog. Isn’t it interesting and motivating as well that it takes a moment to inspire you to create something that you might also be a fan of even if not a hard core one but you end up creating something that is pretty unique and meaningful too?
