Famous Brands Boycotting Russia | A Fun Logo Series By Václav

Hi there everyone! We hope that you had a great time reading our previous blog and that you are also working on your favorite projects too for your personal and commercial clients. What we are going to share in our today’s blog is based on the world’s reactions to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and we are not sure if you are someone who is directly affected by that but we are sure that you will appreciate the famous brands that are boycotting Russia for whatever they are doing and we hope that such brands, entities, and individuals also show their support to the people of Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. as well.

As you all know that one of the ways to have your protest recorded is to create art on it and we firmly believe that it can change a lot of things for the consumers of that art – there are chances that it might not provide solutions but we live for the relief that it can bring for all of us, you know. So, a boredpanda user Václav decided to create logos of all the famous brands that are boycotting Russia for obvious reasons and we think that it’s a very creative approach to not only record your peaceful protest but also let the world know that these brands are doing the needful.

We feel sad to mention this here but like there are people who are never in the favor of war, there are people who are warmongers and are in full support of all the decisions their governments make but what is sadder than that is every powerful government thinks that they are in complete control of ruling and owning us and frankly speaking, we give that power to them so that they can do whatever they want to do even if that means killing off the innocent people, forcing them to leave their beloved homelands, quitting jobs and college, etc. only so that the egos can be boosted. We think that all of that is wrong and we hope to live in a world that does not allow wars, to be honest.

One of the many things big businesses can do in a war-like situation is to withdraw their business from the countries that are oppressing the weak countries and while it may not really affect those countries in changing their decisions but at least, a narrative can be formed and other businesses and brands can follow too. We personally feel that it is the easiest anyone can do to support the countries that are being oppressed and if you don’t have the means to support them big, you can always make the most of your creativity to make things work for everyone.

Now, allow us to share the famous brands that boycotted Russia! Netflix, McDonald’s, VISA, Heineken, Adidas, eBay, Disney, Warner Bros., FedEx, Spotify, Amazon, Lufthansa, Starbucks, Unilever, Facebook, and lastly, Raiffeisen Bank. Big names, right? Wait till you read and see what Václav created using their original logos but before we share that with you guys, we would love to say that it would be an understatement to mention that we love everything that the creator has created. Pretty smart, isn’t it? We know that we have said this before as well but we are genuinely in love with all the logo designs that were created by Václav and like all the sane people in the world who long for peace between the countries, people on boredpanda fully support the artist for creating whatever they have created.
