Hi there, you guys! We hope that you had a fun time reading our previous blogs and that you are super excited to read this one too as we will share an amazing coffee shop brand identity for inspiration with you all today that was created by Bing Haus – a coffee shop in San Diego. But before we do that, we would like to thank you all for the generous support and love that you send our way and for also motivating us to keep creating things that we love to create.
The people who drink coffee know their coffee and the only way to launch a new brand and impress them with your products is to make sure that you are more than just amazing as compared to all the brands that already exist in the market. Or at least provide such services to your customers, etc. that you become their most preferred coffee brand or shop for that matter. Now, the question is how to do that? And if doing that is even doable? Keep reading the blog as we are about to share everything that you need to know to strategize your business and its brand identity in a way that you will always be successful.
First things first; you need to know about your positioning strategy. Where do you stand in the market and what exactly is your objective to launch a brand when there are multiple other options available? You need to know that your brand identity is the personality of the business. In addition to that, you must also know that the personality of your brand exists outside the products that you sell, the services that your offer and the needs of your potential customers. Always remember that in order to be better than your competitors, you must know what they are doing and how they are doing it.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting to know how your competitors are selling their products and how their overall communication is working for them and if you have to take inspiration from them, do that too but plan out your things in such a way that your communication is more meaningful and effective than theirs. Your next step is to finalize your objective and then stick to it as well. You can also make it your brand mission too but it has to be solid. As a business you must be committed to something bigger than making money – that’s like the primary thing and that’s why you are in the market but are you above that? If yes, what is it and how do you plan on reflecting that through your brand identity design?
Focus on what makes you different and then execute everything keeping in mind that it will not only help you to stay on track, but you will also be able to achieve all your business goals in literally no time. The next thing that you need to do is to have an emotional connection with your audience. Remember that even in this very digital world where (ro)bots might take over, humans still want to interact with humans so bring that element into your communication and let it do the talking.
That being said, let’s have a look at what Meiwen See, a brand designer and photographer has created for this brand Bing Haus Coffee Shop as their brand identity. Bing Haus is operational in San Diego since 2016 and has been serving amazing coffee and more to their customers for a long time by following the old school Korean way of doing things. This coffee shop not only has a variety of hot & cold drinks to offer but they also have desserts too that you can enjoy but most importantly, the idea behind opening the shop was to let people a chance to stop, or maybe slow down a little and be in the present. And we believe that all of us need that once in a while too.

The branding team went for a clean sans serif custom logotype along with retro monoline illustrations and an earthy color palette which helped them to reflect the interior dark green and wood details and all the branded items such as the visiting cards, gift cards, tote bags, menu, disposable cups and glasses have this harmony that is being reflected through the brilliantly executed creative approach and we are sure that you will also get the kick that you needed once you will start exploring Bing Haus’ brand identity in detail.
That is all for today, everyone! We hope that you liked reading this blog and that you will also share your feedback with us on it in our comments section. Feel free to share the blog with the people that you know might find it useful to work on their brand identity designs and more and we will see you guys next time with something more fun and exciting to read on.
