Okay so, in this part of our blog, we will talk about what brand identity design is and why it matters for the people who have either just started following our blog or those who would like to refresh a couple of things in their heads regarding the basics. Because it is always a great idea to have clarity on things before you start working on them in order to execute your projects well otherwise what happens is that you have to revise and revise again, all the things that you have created so that you can (finally) release the designs, etc.

In that process, you won’t only lose a lot of your time that would have been ideal to launch or relaunch a brand, but you will also get tired of this back-and-forth routine too, and quite frankly speaking, we are not a fan of that either. We are sure that no one is – as people pay so much attention to whatever they are doing and when you get feedback from the team lead or your client who wants to see something different but even they don’t know what that is, you tend to get frustrated and that does not let you bring the best to the table.

Brand identity design is the foundation of any brand, regardless of the scale of the business as it helps you illustrate your brand – it is the visual representation of your business and the communication that you will be going live with so it has to be on point, right? Brand identity design covers the color palette, typography, styling, logo design, and tagline along with the tone of your business as well. From your brand identity design, you make it easier for the audiences to know what they can expect from you and not in terms of your products and services but also in the context of your branded communication too.

The only way to ensure that your brand identity is on point is to take into consideration everything that revolves around your audiences and then strategize and execute it so beautifully that your audiences cannot resist shopping with you and making the most of the services that you happen to offer. Now, let’s talk about Tokio – a fast-food restaurant that sells sushi burgers (yeah, you read that right!). The brand has very successfully replaced regular bread buns with sushi rice buns and the people of Ibiza happen to love what they can purchase from Tokio.

Interestingly, with the name, the brand has also managed to establish that they wish to keep things very Asian while they run the business and we feel that is a smart move – knowing that Spain has an entirely different cuisine to offer so it is a win-win situation for the people who love sushi and would want to have it in a unique manner and for the people who are going to experiment with a couple of things while living in Spain too. All in all, Tokio will do its thing as beautifully and effortlessly as its creative & design agency has helped them with the brand identity design.

The logo is a combination of sushi and burger in black color standing out on the mustard one and it looks perfect – everything looks more than just perfect with a little bit of imagination and lots of creativity, you can see that the brand has rolled out their identity design that is a true depiction of a food brand very subtly representing what you can get from it to make your day even more exciting.
