If you guys are associated with the advertising industry then you must have heard the term ‘blind advertising’ and today, we would like to talk about it in detail. In addition to that, we would also focus on its effectiveness. Know that we can’t wait to share everything that you guys need to know to make the most of the blog today but before we do that, we would like to thank you guys for the kind support and love that you send our way and for also making sure that your favorite people are reading our blogs. And we would love to see more of that happening in the future as well.
In easy-to-understand words and as the name also suggests, blind advertising refers to the process of advertising where the advertisers/businesses choose to hide the name of their business when promoting a service or a product. Another way of going about blind advertising is that the advertiser conceals the very details of the service or product they are about to launch in the market. The main purpose of blind advertising is to keep the target audience curious till the launch of the product, etc. As a result, the advertisers get to encourage their potential customers to stay connected with the brand in order to find out more about whatever they are planning to launch.

Having said that, we would like to mention here that there are several key features of blind advertising. In this part of the blog, we would like to talk about a couple of them so that you guys can fully understand what it is all about and whether or not it can be effective for your business as well. Make sure that you guys read the blog till the end to make informed decisions in the future.
First things first; you should know that when it comes to designing blind advertising campaigns, you have to ensure that you do not say your name out loud – because, well, that’s the main feature of blind advertising, anyways. If you have chosen to conceal the characteristics of your to-be-launched services or products, then you will have to design the campaigns in such a way that you do not explicitly reveal how they are going to be. In addition to that, you would like to work on curiosity-driven campaigns so that you can tease your target audiences; but in a fun way. And while you are at it, you need to know that you can keep people curious for a short time only so, make sure that you do not drag the timelines for any reason.
Usually, the campaigns built on blind advertising have a clear Call to Action (CTA) which keeps the target audience engaged with the brand. So, if you wish to deliver successful campaigns – regardless of their scale, then you must make sure that your campaigns have a CTA that can lead to the full details of the product or service that is about to be launched. Some of the examples can include directing your target audience to your official website where they can ‘Learn More’ and stuff like that. We must also mention here that newsletters do not quite work in such cases unless you have some really fun ideas to roll your newsletters out. We don’t wish to discourage you but as per a study carried out by Mailchimp, about 20 percent of the audiences across all industries open the newsletter emails. So, try out some new ideas to work for your blind advertising campaigns in the future to be successful.

Blind advertising is quite effective as far as movies, beauty products, etc. are concerned as it allows the brands to build anticipation levels in the audiences and engage with them in fun ways that can also lead to stronger brand recall. The target audience feels more involved and wants to see what’s coming from their preferred brands.
That is all for today, everyone! If you liked reading the blog, then feel free to let us know how you plan on utilizing the shared information for your upcoming campaigns. And while you are at it, do not forget to share the blog with your friends, family and favorite colleagues. Lastly, we want you guys to take some time and let us know about your special requests so that we can start working on them and be back here with your requested content and more super soon. Until then, keep reading and sharing our blogs with the people you love and care for.
