Hi there, guys! How are you guys doing? We hope that all is well at your end and that you guys are having a great time reading our blogs and making the most of what we happen to share here. Today, we are going to be talking about a rather concerning issue and we are sure that you would also be interested in knowing how to stop using your digital devices so much. Know that we cannot wait to formally begin the blog but before we do that, we would like to take a moment to thank you all for the love and support that you send our way and for also making sure that your friends, family and favorite colleagues are reading our blogs. And we would love to see more of that happening in the future as well.
In today’s age and time, it feels almost impossible to work (or even live) without a digital device or two. And if you are working at a place where you need to be connected with your team members, clients, vendors, etc., then there is no chance that you can just be yourself, that is without a digital device – because well, you want to focus on other things that won’t let you waste your time. In addition to that, many people have made this an excuse to just be on their digital devices all the time because they think that they have to be connected with the outer world – no matter what. Honestly, that is not true or even healthy for that matter, and we need to work on ourselves in such a way that we won’t be that kinda dependent on our digital devices. Now, let’s talk about the things that you can do to stop using your digital devices so much.

First things first; you need to set up a schedule for yourself during which you will allot yourself time slots to use your digital devices, regardless of what they are. What we are trying to say is that you cannot be on your smartphone while being away from your work or personal laptop or tablet, etc. We know that some people make very strict schedules that they wish to follow, but then they just ignore them because they think there is no survival without digital devices. However, to encourage you guys, we have some other tips to share. For example; you guys can set up a reward system through which you can treat yourself with something fancy (be it an eatable, a clothing item or even 15 extra minutes of your favorite digital device) but for that, you will have to be away from your smartphone, laptop, etc., for a good number of hours.
Another effective tip that has worked for us as well is to turn off all the notifications on all the digital and social media apps that you happen to use. By doing so, you will see that you have stopped using your digital devices significantly and that you are also focusing on other important tasks. Moreover, you can also invest in boxes that come with locks in which you can place your digital devices as soon as you are back home from school or work and then you can take your stuff back once you have sat down with your family members, have finished your pending tasks or have rested, you know? We would also like to mention that you can inform your friends, colleagues, and even family members that you won’t have your phone or laptop on you for some time so that you can focus on the offline life that you happen to have. This will help you do your thing without being anxious about phone calls or messages, and you will be able to lay down in bed, finish one of your favorite books, or maybe even cook something for yourself and your family. Apart from that, you should spend your time in healthy activities so that you won’t need to use your digital devices all the time.
Friends, that is all for today! If you liked reading the blog, then feel free to share your valuable feedback with us in the comments section down below and while you are at it, do not forget to share the blog with your favorite people as well so that they can also make the most of the tips and tricks that we have shared here.
