Hi there, everyone! We are back with yet another super useful blog of ours and we are sure that you will have an amazing time reading it too. As you guys have already read the title of the blog, we promise that we won’t take too long to formally begin it. However, we need to take a moment to thank you all for the love and support that you send our way and for also making sure that your near and dear ones are reading our blogs. And we would love to see more of that happening in the future as well.
Regardless of how many signage designs that you guys have made for your personal and commercial projects, we are sure that there comes a time when you want to create something different, something so unique that you will feel proud of yourself for a very, very long time. And while that goal might seem a little hard to achieve, you guys must know that it is not impossible to achieve. That said, we want to ask you guys a question and you can share your responses in the comments section down below. The question is: How does your creative journey look when you sit down to make a signboard or two? By leaving your responses, you will help us tweak our information a little to further guide you on how to make things work in your favor, always.
Having said that, usually, a creative journey of making a signboard looks like this: you are assigned a project and you start doing your research to find our more about the business. In addition to that, you would also try to find out answers to various questions such as: how’s the target audience like, how many competitors this certain business has, what are their values and commitments, and how have they worked upon their mission and so on and so forth. Once you have gathered the useful information that can help you work on your signboard designs, you will be able to create effective mood boards. We are sure that you guys work like that because without creating a mood board, things can become a little difficult and quite frankly speaking, a logo artist or a graphic designer cannot afford to waste their time like that.
Once you have collected all the visual design elements (such as the colors to create the color palette, fonts and styles, complementing imagery and more), you will be able to think of all the ideas that can help you create your signage. We want you to ensure that you jot down all the concepts and ideas first, before you start working on the sketches, so that you can not only follow a proper method but also make sure that you will end up creating something so attractive and effective that it will get approved in the first go. Also, even if your designs do not get approved in the first go, you should not lose your heart. You must incorporate the required changes, and we are sure that you will get back on the right track.
We know that, at times, one would want to use fonts that look too fancy, thinking that can make the logo signboard designs pretty and what not. But allow us to tell you guys that’s not the case. When you guys tend to pick fonts that are too fancy to even look at, you make it very hard for your target audience to read whatever there is to read. So, when someone won’t be able to read your signboard or any other communication for that matter, then how are they going to engage with your business? Always (and we can’t stress enough!) aim for making simpler designs and we promise you that you will be good to go. As far as the colors are concerned, take help from color psychology to make informed decisions. And the rest of the aesthetics can be taken care of through this mock-up PSD file of ours.
That is all for today, you guys! We hope that you not only liked reading the blog but that you will also take some time to share your valuable feedback with us in the comments section down below.
