1. User Experience (UX) Designer:

Without getting into the details of what a User Experience (UX) designer does, we will get straight to the point: if you are a UX designer, you need to make sure that you know how human-to-computer interaction works because that’s literally what you gotta do to offer your end customer the best experience.

With the right kind of knowledge and experience, a UX designer can earn between $90,000 and $150,000 per year.

 

2. Product Designer:

A Product Designer must know how to conceptualize ideas into 3D models that are then shared with the stakeholders to finalize the products. From knowing how to do just that to communicating well with other teams in a company, a Product Designer’s role covers several aspects.

As a Product Designer, you can earn between $75,000 and $120,000 annually.

 

3. Creative Director:

In addition to knowing how a layout for something as simple as a social media post should be, the real job of a Creative Director is to run a team or several teams simultaneously. A Creative Director is usually the face of the company as well, along with the account manager because most of the time, it’s their ideas that are worked upon to make creative assets.

A Creative Director can earn up to $135,000 a year.

4. 3D Designer: 

A 3D Designer happens to be the one who creates 3D models of products, ideas and more as per the client’s requirements. Moreover, they also create animations for commercial and digital ads, films, etc. For a 3D designer, it’s important that they know how to utilize the latest tools such as CAD.

A seasoned 3D designer can earn up to $65,000 annually. It can be more, but it depends on the experience.

 

5. User Interface (UI) Designer:

As a User Interface (UI) Designer, you must strive to become a better version of yourself. For example, you should learn how to work on wireframes and prototypes. And while you are at it, do not underestimate the power of learning a professional language as well.

As a UI Designer, you can earn up to $100,000 per year. It can be much more if the UI designer knows how to code.

 

6. Design Engineer:

A Design Engineer does a lot of things from conducting research to modifying existing designs to testing prototypes and more. They also have to have the knowledge to run specific software to ensure that the designs are free of flaws. A Design Engineer is required in multiple different sectors such as construction, machinery, software and vehicles.

As a Design Engineer, you can earn up to $100,000 a year.

 

7. Video Game Designer: 

In the design industry, a Video Game Designer makes the most money and rightly so. Here is why: Apart from the usual design-related education that you going to get, you will also have to invest in getting educated in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, as well as Graphic Arts. All these degrees and courses add up to your skillset, allowing you to top the list.

A Video Game Designer earns up to $115,000 per year.

 

8. Design Manager:

As basic as it may sound, the job of a Design Manager is something that gets the work done. They work on the design brief, ensuring that the client’s demands are met.
