And we would love to see more of that happening in the future as well.
Okay so, we are sure that you guys know anything and everything that is created for a brand is meant to promote that brand in one wya or another. It can literally be a logo design, a tagline, or something as basic as the color palette. All the designed items are used on different kinds of media and platforms such as your digital and social media channels, out-of-home advertising (OOH), conventional media and so much more.
So, the moral of the story is that anything and everything that you are designing for a certain brand needs to send out the message effectively and you will be good to go. But as far as the abstract and symbolic logo designs are concerned, a lot of people do not have faith in them. Or they do not like the idea of creating abstract or symbolic logos to represent their brands. Now, that’s something we will be focusing on first and then we will share how you can create abstract or symbolic logo designs for your own brands or the ones that you are working with.
First things first; a lot of people do not fancy the idea of abstract logos or even symbolic logos for that matter because they think their target audience might not be able to understand what is being communicated to them. This concern is valid to some extent but we also need to understand the reasons behind a certain target audience not getting what is being said to them. So, when it comes to creating an abstract logo design or two, some people tend to go a little too far. We understand that when the creative juices are flowing, it is almost hard to slow down.
We would like you guys to know that the above-mentioned approach is not the right one. The right approach is to first understand what the target audience wants to see. No one is going to come to your shop, retail store, etc., to tell you that they like abstract or symbolic logo designs. That’s something you need to find out through research. Get to know how your target audience responds to a certain idea. Understand their needs and then work on your designs – even if they are abstract but make sure that you only bring the things that are liked by the masses instead of throwing things at their faces, okay? 😣 Because that might not get you the results that you would like to see.
Having said that, we would like to talk about how you can get started with your abstract and symbolic logo design ideas. Make sure that you read the blog till the end to know more and design better than before!
Once you have gathered all the necessary information that is required to work on your logo design ideas, you need to understand your own objective of creating your designs. For example, are you launching a new brand in the market, do you want to increase brand recognition and recall of an already existing brand, or do you want to introduce a new branding after a revamp, merger, etc.? In short, by knowing your objectives well, you can deliver your message more effectively. 😌
That is all for today, everyone! If you liked reading the blog, then feel free to share your valuable feedback with us in the comments section down below and while you are at it, do not forget to share the blog and these abstract and symbolic logo design ideas with your friends, colleagues and anyone you think can benefit from them.
