As you all know that creating logos is one of the most fun things to do if you know how to do it and if you are wondering if, that cannot happen, then allow us to tell you that it can. Because all you have to do is to gather the information / insights regarding the target audiences that you are going to communicate with and then make something that will entice them to get in touch with you in one way or the other. And everything else will fall right into place.

In this part of our blog, we will share what a logo should be so that you guys can, you know learn it by heart and then implement your learning whenever you are working on a logo design project or two. First things first; your logo should be attractive enough to catch people’s attention – even if they are not your primary customers, your logo design must entice them to know more about you so that later on, they can share that information with their family, friends and people they know who might be interested in getting your stuff.

Secondly, your logo needs to be memorable. It should just stick with the people who will look at it through various branded communication that you will share online, on-ground, etc. The main purpose a memorable logo design serves is to stay there in the minds of anyone and everyone who comes across that and they can easily recall your brand’s products or services just like that because you have taken some space in their minds and for good.

Another thing that your logo needs to be is to be timeless. Now, we know that brands that revamp their branding, etc. are the ones that are liked by the masses mainly because they are keeping up with the latest trends, etc. but that does not mean that you keep revising your logo designs every other year; that not only looks being non-serious on your part but you can also lose credibility too and we are sure that is not something that you would like to happen. Also, make sure that your logo design is versatile so that you can use it for every medium and platform without having to make it smaller or bigger versions every time.

You also have to ensure that your logo design(s) have the vibes of your brand (otherwise what’s the point, right?) Don’t worry if you guys don’t know about what we mean by a brand vibe because we are about to share that right here. So, in easy to understand words; your brand vibe is literally the feeling that you would like the people to feel about your brand. If you are a high end stationery brand, you would want the customers to feel that feeling when they hold a luxurious looking pen in their hand with which they write on a beautifully sewn notebook. If you are a kids’ toy store, you would want to be super playful with everything that you will create as your branded communication because that is how you are going to make the kids and their parents fall in love with whatever you are selling, right? And all of that starts from the logo design which then matures to become much bigger such as hoardings, billboards, etc.
