And for this blog too, we are about to be sharing a bunch of tips and tricks that will help you design the most attractive transparent card designs. For any bank card; debit or credit, it is important that your design is in compliance with the already existing brand identity so that anyone and everyone who would be receiving their card after opening an account or two can recognize it easily and can also take care of their payments, etc. as well without getting confused as we are sure that you guys would know that many people happen to have multiple bank cards for their personal and professional transactions and then some more. In this part of our blog, you will be able to read how you can initiate creative thinking and design processes to take things forward.
First things first; you need to have a one-to-one conversation with your brand manager or direct Point of Contact (POC) to better understand the brief and also get to know how many types of cards need to be there because only then you will be able to decide which themes to work on and dedicate them to the respective cards category-wise. Usually, there are different categories of cards which are issued by the banks such as classic, gold, and platinum as they offer different types of services as well as discounts, and depending on their needs & demands, the customers pick the one that suits them the most.
Then there are bank cards which are for specific people as well such as there are countries in the world that allow women to open accounts for their financial needs and their bank cards are different from the regular cards and the list goes on. So, you need to know what you are working on in order to make sure that you are on the right track.
Keeping in mind the creative and design brief in mind, you will be able to decide what needs to be shown on the cards such as the logo of the partner company such as VISA or Mastercard for that matter. Then you would want to leave space for the card holder’s name along with the card number as well as the date of issue and expiry. And of course, a thematic image in the background, a solid color, or a pattern are the design elements that you can play around with to see what works for you. The back side of such cards is as important as the front one so make sure that you utilize that for terms and conditions, CVV, and for signature and you will be good to go.
