For example; you would like to consider if the mugs and cups are being designed for consuming hot and cold drinks or if they are being designed for decorative purposes. In addition to that, you would also like to consider the thickness of such containers as well as that’s an important factor when it comes to the consumption of hot drinks.

Moreover, you would also like to pay attention to the handles of the mugs as well because a handle is usually that part of the mug that comes in contact with the end user. We would also like to share that you can consider the handle as your canvas too and by using your imagination and skills, you can create interesting handle designs as well. That will enhance the overall beauty of the product and you will be able to achieve your desired results like a pro.

Moving on to the size and shape of your mugs; you would like to determine these specs. well before time so that your design and production processes do not get impacted. Otherwise, you will have to rework almost everything from scratch and we are sure that’s not something that you would like to happen. You can also use the inside parts of the mug for advertising your business or to give it a unique and engaging look. For example; you can write motivational messages on the bottom of the mugs or you can decorate the sides of the mug with patterns, etc. too from the inside.

And now comes the most crucial part of the mug design and that is choosing the color scheme. You would like to pick colors that go with your organization or you would like to keep them theme-based – depending on the types of orders that you would receive in the future. If you designing the mugs for your personal use, then you can pick literally any color that you like and utilize it in creating your mug designs. As far as the surface decoration of the mugs (from the outside) is concerned, you would like to pick a texture for that for example; you can go for glossy textures or you can go for carved designs as well – depending on the orders and budget that you have.
