Today, our blog will be all about the visual identity design of a healthcare tech company and we can bet that you will enjoy reading it as much as we did when we were working on it. Let’s start with the basics first; what is visual identity design and why does it matter? For a brand to be in the market successfully and stay in the game, it is important for it to have a visual identity through which the businesspersons can speak to their targeted audiences. Anything and everything that is a visual / graphical representation of your brand count as its identity design from branding & trademarks, to public relations including electronic, digital and social media as well. It matters (the most) because it lets you put forward yourself out in the public with a narrative that you wish to go with in order to communicate with your existing and potential customers / clients.

Okay so, there are four major components of an effective visual identity design:

In order to develop a visual identity design, you must know your audiences inside out to cater to their demands along with fulfilling your business goal(s). Identify emotions that you can invoke and stay consistent throughout so that you don’t happen to confuse anyone with too many messages. To stand out in the crowd, work in a systematic way, simplify the communication and integrate your campaigns to reach out to as many relevant people as you can through all the platforms that you use to market your business.

Now, it’s time for us to talk about Vively! It is an Australian healthcare tech company that focuses on three areas offering a holistic perspective on health which are; mind, body and spirit and that very approach was utilized to create the visual identity design for Vively. Ville Oké, a Swedish graphic designer worked on creating a symbol ‘V’ that also stands for empathy, strength and wellbeing. The symbol also depicts a bicep or a raised arm of a person and is representing the theme perfectly. And the visual elements that were chosen to create the symbol are semi-circles that not only add a human touch to the logo design but they are giving out a very organic vibe too.

The font, typography, and the color palette fully represent the theme; the holistic health approach and all of that has been very intelligently incorporated into creating the branding (on-ground and digital) in such a way that it not only builds easy recall but also entices individuals to get in touch with Vively for their health-related issues.
