But before we start talking about that, we would like to take a moment to thank you all for the kind support and love that you guys send our way and for always making sure that you are sharing our blogs with your friends, family members as well as with your favorite colleagues. And we really hope to see more of that happening in the future too.

If you guys are our regular readers, then you would know much we love talking about packaging designs of different products from around the globe. Our second favorite thing to do whenever we come across a super effective packaging design is to share it with you guys so that you can allow it to get inspired in unique ways. And as a result, you will end up creating something amazing for your own brand or the ones that you are working with. Needless to say, the moment we came across Mare Aperto’s limited edition packaging, we had to tell you guys all about it. So, here it goes:

Mare Aperto is an Italian term which means ‘open sea’ in English and in our blog today, we will talk about their “Ocean in a Box” packaging design. Make sure that you guys read the blog till the end to know more!

Mare Aperto is an Italian brand that sells tuna fish by making sure that their fishermen are following sustainable practices while they do their thing. Their creative and design agency The 6th Creative Studio was assigned the task of rebranding the tuna and so they did – in the most impressive of ways; all the stakeholders wanted to provide the customers with an engaging experience that could also highlight the brand’s sustainable philosophy. So, the very creative people at The 6th Creative Studio came up with the idea of this limited edition tuna packaging design that you can view in the blog.

Know that, from the looks of it, the boxes appear to be the regular boxes that would have tuna inside them but when you open them, an engaging unboxing experience awaits you in three different themes; Yellowfin Tuna, Fishermen, and Deep Ocean. All three thematic boxes represent visuals with information like: “Tuna don’t swim alone, our yellowfin tuna are caught avoiding the capture of dolphins that live in the same waters.”, Sustainability is a tradition: we train the crews of our fishing boats to know and use only practices of sustainable fishing.”, “The sea has its seasons: we fish in compliance with seasonality and protected marine areas to protect all species, allow the laying of eggs and their growth.” respectively. We are in love with the visuals and we can bet that the people in Italy must be having an amazing time by both unboxing their tuna fish boxes and consuming it too.

Now, it is time for us to share how you guys can work on your packaging designs by making sure that you won’t just sell the product(s) but that you will also engage them in creatively unique ways. First things first; pick an aspect of the packaging design that will make you different from the crowd, such as using eco-friendly sustainable packaging material. You can also think of fun and easy ways to unbox the packaging, allowing an enhanced and smooth user experience. Or you can also opt for storytelling through your packaging as it will help you engage with your customers even after they have purchased their required things from you. Also, try surprising your customers with shapes and structures in the packaging designs that are peculiar but also exciting in nature.

That is all for today, you guys! If you liked reading this blog, don’t forget to share how you plan to make the most of it for your personal and commercial projects and while you are at it, we would love to read your feedback on it too. We also want you guys to share the blog with the people that you care for so that they can also benefit from all that we have shared today. Lastly, feel free to send in your special requests too so that we can start working on them and be back here super soon with your requested content and more. Until next time, keep reading our blogs and creating magical packaging designs.
