A Must-See Creative Spin on Famous Logo Designs

Hello there everyone! How is your work life treating you? We hope that it is going great and that you are also having a good time reading our blogs and creating superb designs using our mock-up PSDs and design templates. For our today’s blog however, we are going to be sharing something different with you guys – it is a creative spin on famous logo designs and if you are a regular (old) reader then you would definitely know how much we love sharing amazing recreations and art made by designers & artists around the world.

Okay so, as we all know that we have got some little extra time on our hands to (finally) get done and over with things that we would never do if there was no need to be in self-quarantine. Same is the case with the designer whose creative spin on famous logo designs is not only commendable but we love how unique each of his recreated logos are. We are talking about De2s (Bordeaux, France) who came up with an interesting idea to spend his quarantine days in a better way.

We must never forget this one thing that as soon as the lockdowns and curfews were imposed, the situation not only took a toll on people’s mental health, many people stopped getting work the way they used to get – especially the ones who work as freelancers like De2s himself. He mentioned that all of a sudden, he ran out of projects to work on and it left a bad impact on his business. But in order to stay creative and hopeful, he thought of doing something that was relevant to his work and it is also going to inspire many other designers and artists to stay positive and keep doing what they are known for.

De2s’s idea of bringing the fun element into the famous logo designs is to also offer disruptive alternatives and as fancy as it sounds, he wanted to give a more minimalist, more illustrative, more geeky, and more engaging look by merging two brands and we can bet that once you will have a look at the logos that have been “rebranded” by him, you are going to fall in love with his creativity. The best part about his newly made logos is that he chose those brands whose logos are widely known and are easily recognizable.

Let us start from the Starbucks’ logo! First, he changes the expressions of the nautical character that has been the trademark of Starbucks and gives it a little twist and just to spill some more tea, De2s’s Instagram caption says and we quote: “TAG a friend who could already have bought a house if he hadn’t slammed his money at Starbucks. ??”. We believe that this young man happens to have a good sense of humor too and he know how and when to use it. He has also recreated the same brand’s logo with multiple techniques and styles to make the logo look even more engaging but our favorite one is the one that depicts a frog as a king instead of the nocturnal character of Starbucks.

Next one is the Burger King’s logo and De2s’s take on this brand’s logo is pretty unique too. From making the words Burger King appear like they just got grilled and a French fries top while the base is half a bun which not only looks aesthetically pleasing but we just realized that we are feeling a little hungry too by just looking at this rebranded logo. From this set of interesting logos, we love the one that say Burger Queen, everything is the same which makes it super recognizable, but the twist is amazing and you might want to see the one that is more like a doodle of the logo which we think is also a nice touch when it comes to rebranding / recreating a logo design.

We know that you love IKEA and we love it too, but we would also like you all to must check out the logos that De2s has created – brilliantly recreated and to the point. The best thing about these recreated logos is that De2s has put in his imagination in such a way that the logos are standing out very nicely. We have two favorite designs from this set of logos; our most favorite is the Lego one and the second most favorite logo design is the one that has the IKEA products.

The last logo for this blog is of Apple’s apple – starting off with the one that legit reads fear but is shaped like the apple. And then we have multiple other recreated logos of Apple as well which are unique pieces and you can see the creativity of the designer in each one of them.
